DUALIS - Laser Systems for Aesthetics
The DualisXP long pulse Nd:YAG laser system is a unique combination of the Nd:YAG wavelength and the new VSP technology to provide a safe and effective treatment of unwanted hair and veins. Deep tissue penetration and low absorption in melanin and oxyhemoglobin make the Dualis Nd:YAG laser the perfect tool for coagulation of hair follicles and vessels without damage to the skin. The VSP shaped pulse structure contributes to the protection of the epidermis, and controls the distribution of heat into the dermis.
Optionally, the DualisXP can be equipped with the scanner. The Dualis Scanner generates a unique spot pattern (60 mm x 35 mm), which enables a more uniform heating of the treated area.

The DualisVP aesthetic laser combines two lasers in one system: Nd:YAG and KTP (frequency doubled Nd:YAG). This combination allows the practitioner to utilize the whole range of absorption characteristics of human skin. The strongly absorbed shorter wavelength (532 nm) KTP laser mainly targets smaller, superficial vessels, and pigmented lesions. On the other hand, the more homogeneously absorbed longer wavelength (1064 nm) Nd:YAG laser penetrates deeper skin layers. The combination of long Nd:YAG and short KTP wavelengths thus opens a whole spectrum of activities in laser aesthetics.

DualisSP aesthetic laser combines two lasers in one system: Er:YAG and Nd:YAG. The combination of two wavelengths with complementary effects on tissue in terms of skin penetration makes the DualisSP the most versatile aesthetic laser system. While the Er:YAG wavelength is absorbed in the superficial skin layer, the Nd:YAG wavelength is absorbed homogeneously in deeper skin structures.
The Er:YAG has been recognized as a laser with the minimal penetration depth, and has been used successfully for superficial ablation for several years. The Fotona VSP technology has changed the Er:YAG philosophy and has widened its application range from cold ablation on one side to thermally induced tissue rejuvenation on the other side. The optimally chosen combination of pulse duration, repetition rate, and fluence makes the Fotona Er:YAG laser safe and effective for the following applications:
